Volleyball Marathon 2010

I have lately started writing more posts on my blog after half a year of silence. I don't want my blog to be mostly dating as it has been in the past, but I would like to say that this week is Volleyball Marathon again at our college. It is a very good opportunity to get extra dating in. This is my last spring semester, so this is the last year that I have to ask people to support me and it is the last year that I have to sign up for 4 different 4 hour shifts. Brooke and I, had a great time last night during our first 4 hour shift. It was nice just sitting in the snack shop and getting to talk. We see each other every day, but rarely do we get to spend a whole night together. It was wonderful.

We Want America Back

I love America, but I do not love what she has become. The scripture says, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD..." (Ps. 33:12a), and America has forgotten its Godly foundation on which she was built. Something is wrong. Our children are asked to attend public schools, which in many cases resemble war zones, without even the basic rights of any soldier. The right to pray publicly to the God of heaven. Many times, the wild-eyed, drug addicted teenager is allowed to stay in our public schools, while our Supreme Court decided to expel God's Bible and prayer from the classroom over 40 years ago. Something is wrong.

Television daily bombards the senses of our nation with the idea that wrong is right, the abnormal is normal, the abhorrent is acceptable, and that what God calls an abomination is nothing more than an alternative lifestyle. 40 years ago, the number one television program was the Andy Griffith Show. Look what we have today. Something is wrong

When our government can endorse abortion in school without parental consent, yet the Bible can no longer be passed out on campus, something is wrong.

When our leaders can say to your children that immorality is alright as long as its safe, yes, something is wrong. Something is wrong, and I for one am ready for a change.

I want to say to my government, "We're not supposed to be raising dogs in our homes. We're supposed to be rearing children created in the image and likeness of Almighty God and to teach them the Bible. If the Bible says its right, its right. If the Bible says its wrong, its wrong."

The only hope that America has is if Godly men and Godly women of character will stand together like one mighty army and declare to the immoral, impure, obscene and foul, "Your days of unlimited access to the minds of America are over, the Army of God that has been silent too long is taking America back!"

The last few hours

Well, it seems like yesterday that I walked back onto campus after 8 months of "vacation." Last May commenced another typical summer break. What started out as summer break turned into taking a semester off of college to travel with the Minutemen Evangelistic Team. I will never regret the decision to travel with the team, it was a life changing experience for sure. In January I returned to school to finish my degree. In three days I will have finished 5 semesters of Bible college. The time has just flown by, however, its not over yet! ;) Next year is going to be another exciting year of school. I currently have no plans of "cutting class" until I graduate. In three days, I am going to say goodbye to all my friends and start a wonderful summer working at my church. I am extremely excited to see what the Lord is going to do this summer. My dad has a long list of things for me to get done starting with running a bus wash approximately 3 hours after I set foot in Milwaukee. They say a busy person is a tired person and a tired person is a happy person...(nobody really says that because I just made it up ;). I am going to miss my girlfriend a lot because I practically see her every day. However, it will make seeing her again that much more special! Posted are some pictures from our school trip to Indianapolis (last Wednesday).
